Monster Jam!

Grandpa and I took Joshua to his first ever Monster Jam Show!. Joshua was so excited he could hardly contain himself the entire Day. He got to see Donkey Kong, Blue Thunder, Jurassic Attack, Airborne Ranger, and of course his absolute favorite Graaaave Diggerrrr, up close and personal.

Joshua continued to be wound up until about 11:00 pm. and is still a little wound today!

We'll be doing this again

I wonder why we're here?

Summer Wrap-up

Sorry for the delay in updates, it's been a very hectic summer. I'll try to cram the second half of summer into a single post.

In July we took our annual trip to Seaside, Oregon where we spent time at the beach with family and visited the Tillamook Air Museum.

In August we went to Potholes with the Vickermans, and Kraus family. We had absolutely perfect weather all weekend, and even found a new secluded beach where we picnic'd and played all day .

Joshua stayed busy all summer with school, birthdays, swimming and playing.

Brittaney came home for her last summer break before she graduates, and moves on.

As far as summers go, this was a great one!

Banks Lake

Another summer camping trip to our favorite park, Steamboat Rock!

The fishing was terrible, but the weather was perfect.

The Boys had a good time, and we had a much better time not having to worry about setting up, and taking down the tent.

Marcie and Ted joined us this time, and brought along 3 kids (2 retrievers, and Ted's nephew)

We didn't spend as much time in the water this year, because it was much colder than usual, but we did finally hike to the top of the rock to admire the panoramic view!

Southern California!

It's been a little while since we updated, our house has been a little chaotic recently with some remodeling projects.

We just got back from Southern California. Disneyland, Seaworld, and The Beach

The weather was mild, but we mangaed to get burned a little anyway. It sure was nice to get out of our wet dreary spring, and into the sunshine.

We spent a little more time at the beach this year, since we weren't as rushed to take in all the rides. We drove out to Huntington Beach on Wednesday, then cut our Seaworld Day short, and returned to our Favorite Beach on Coronado Island, San Diego

Joshua got to meet Shamu, and see the dolphins up close, but I think his favorite part was running in the sand
