Swimming at the Beechers

While we were in the Tri-Cities we spent some time at the Beecher's House swimming. I spent a lot of time here as a kid. It brought back good memories!

20 YEAR Class Reunion

July was a super busy month.

We left directly from the beach and headed out to the Tri-Cities to join old classmates in celebrating the Kamiakin High School Class of '89 - - 20 Year Reunion!

Oh my goodness, are we really that old?

Got to see a lot of great old friends. We had a really nice time. Thanks also to Grama and Grampot for joining us in the Tri-Cities. It's nice to have traveling Joshua sitters!

Our Annual Beach Trip

Every year, Grama and Grampot give us a wonderful gift for Christmas, relaxing time spent at the beach with family.

So in July 2009 we set out for our annual beach trip in Seaside, Oregon.

The boys heading out for their morning fishing event. I am pretty sure they didn't bring the family home dinner for that evening. But they had a good time.

Joshua loves corn on the cob. Another family tradition - corn roasted on the campfire. Did someone remember to bring the salt, pepper and butter?

GRADUATION!

Brittaney graduates from college!
a bachelors degree in only 4 years, can you believe it?

Boy does time really fly by. She will be moving to San Diego this week to start her life as a grownup, and we wish her all the best.

Of course we will be visiting her every chance we get. it's San Diego after all!

Great Wolf Lodge

I'm a little behind on the blogging, June being such a busy month.

A few weeks ago we took Joshua and his cousin Noah back to his favorite place in the world.

Both of the boys played Magicquest this time, and stayed in the water until they were grey and pickled.

We all hope to go back soon, maybe for Joshua's Birthday!
